This kit includes everything needed to build a complete limb riser system, from our stainless steel hood brackets to the wire rope, turnbuckles, mounting hardware, and roof rack attachment points. No need to source individual components. Just install, adjust, and hit the trail.

Complete Limb Riser System

Limb risers use tensioned wire rope running from the front of your Land Cruiser to an upper attachment point on the roof rack. When pushing through dense or narrow trails, the cables help guide small branches and brush up and over the vehicle instead of allowing them to make direct contact with the windshield.

They're built for those trails where a few new pinstripes are simply part of the adventure.

Tarheel Expedition Engineering Hood Brackets

Our hood brackets mount using an existing fender bolt and extend through the gap between the hood and fender, creating a strong, low-profile lower attachment point without requiring permanent modifications to the vehicle.

Each bracket is constructed from .075" stainless steel and finished with a durable black powder coat for corrosion resistance and long-lasting performance.

Because factory hood and fender gaps can vary slightly between vehicles, minor adjustment or bending of the brackets may be necessary to ensure proper clearance from the hood. 3M Paint Protection Film (PPF) can also be applied around the mounting area for additional paint protection.
